Prison Colony Tour to  Island San Lucas  

Isla San Lucas  the was a penal colony until 1991. He had the reputation of being the toughest prison in Costa Rica and its 117-year history is rich with tales of violence. A network of underground cells housed undesirable society who ran the community, fished , creating and doing household chores . Today the prison walls are crumbling in ruins and a lonely caretaker might let you go around the island .
